Besides, the Germans knew that Land Rover wants to stop the release of brutal car Defender. If this is true, then the G-class will remain the only serial SUV of class “Lux”.

New Gelandewagen of 2016 year will remain on the line of the German automaker until 2027, according to unconfirmed reports; there are rumors that the current G-class will live until 2020. But later, the media insiders in the UK and Germany agreed that the legendary SUV will live longer thanks to an impressive update. For example, in its construction will be aluminum, whereby the model is “lose weight” at 200 lbs.

Updated G-class will be 10 cm wider than its predecessor. The new car will boast adaptive head lighting, electronic systems that are designed to help the driver, as well as a large number of small video cameras.

The future generation of Gelandwagen may be with engine V12. The Germans decided to give preference to two new engines with six cylinders. The basic equipment of new Gelandwagen will be equipped with diesel power unit volume of 2.9 liters or a gasoline engine of 3 liters.
