New Mazda CX-9 2016

A few days ago motorists were able to see and appreciate a novelty of Mazda. The model CX-9 2016 was presented to their attention. This car is the second generation of the crossover appeared as early as 2006. The car comes with breakthrough design and thanks to it new Mazda is stylish and dynamic. The design of the novelty was developed by the Japanese design company «KODO». The company did not save money on technology and materials while was working on development and launch of the model. As a result we have got a stylish, economical and modern car.

Few words about the appearance

The novelty has got an updated exterior style to make Mazda company cars’ fans around the world surprised. The car has a distinct appearance of an SUV but also this car comes with features of sportiness and fast-moving. The front of the car has an elongated shape. Car’s body has got an update narrow pushed onto the wings headlights.

The vehicle looks solidly and courageously due to impressive volumetric shapes of the sides and increased wheel arches. The car has got a massive black radiator grille with the chrome-plated sign of the manufacturer mounted on it. The lower edge of the grille has got a chrome strip to provide more luxury view of the car.

The bumpers of the model were also changed. The designers changed the shape of them as well as the shape of niches for fog lights. The back of the new Mazda has undergone less changes. Taillights get some updates and don’t look like eyes of an Asian any more. More European forms became though Japanese style is saved. This is done in order to attract buyers from European countries.

What is inside?

The style is minimalism. There is not any “luxury” unit inside the car. Dashboard is beautiful and easy to read, it goes well with the center console which has a rectangular shape.

A multimedia system with display and controls for climate control are in the central part. Seats’ finishing is made of HQ leather materials.

Technical data

CX-9 has got a new engine. The 2.5-liter turbocharged engine is mounted instead of the 3.5 liter 6-cylinder engine. As the manufacturer claims its power is 250 hp. The engine works with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
