According to company representatives, from now on the novelty will be equipped with a modern complex called Data Communication Module. It makes it possible to mate with other vehicles. In addition, the system will automatically diagnose the car, and if there are any problems, Data Communication Module will be able to call help services on its own.
The basis for the car was a modern platform called TNGA, which assembles most modern models of the Japanese brand. The first test of the 15th generation of the sedan took place on the Nürburgring track. During the races the car demonstrated excellent handling, dynamics and stability even at the steepest turns.
The standard version of the car is equipped with a multi-link suspension, and RS versions will be equipped with a special sports design with the possibility of manual adjustment.
The model will be produced by a stirrup with various power motors. The standard version will receive a two-liter turbocharged engine with a payload of 245 horses. In pair with it the automatic transmission on 8 steps and system of a drive on a back axis will work.
The next version will receive an atmospheric unit with a volume of 2.5 liters, which is the basis of the hybrid system. Its total capacity is 226 horses. Hybrid Toyota is equipped with a 6-speed automatic. Drive rear or all-wheel drive (depending on the choice of the buyer).
The most luxurious version is also equipped with a hybrid system, which consists of an electrical installation and an atmospheric 3.5 liter engine. The return of the system is 359 horses. It is worth noting that this installation is also installed on the flagship models from the company Lexus. By default, the car will be installed safety system called Toyota Safety Sense, which will help monitor pedestrians and other obstacles on the roadway, even at night.
It is also reported that the most luxurious version of the car in the local market will cost 6,237,000 yen or $51 700.
